Baboons doesn't mean they can't play in a tourney. If voobly made it official I'm sure we'd easily get 50 players if not more.

To the guy that said but Henry or magnes ... It's obvious you don't play RCB anymore. Henry was in 2010 and now removed from 2011. You pretty much only go Charlemagne if you're the Aztecs too. I'll post a guide for the first round later when I'm not on my phone to try and entice voobly to get this going.

A 2v2 CBF tourney would be pretty interesting I think. All of the old players grew up playing noob CBF, I think they might look forward to a set civ match vs other good players. It's also a really simple map to learn as well.

A FFA tournament is a pretty bad idea imo. Rcb ffa is 1/3 skill, 1/3 position, and 1/3 politics. Its just not even enough to give all the players a fighting chance.

Mini doesn't need tournaments. It has its own community which has stuck together for the past 5 years. They ignore the rest of voobly and we ignore them.

An anti-camp system would be needed imo.

Politics maybe. Position is negated via having each person each position 1x. All you'd have to do to negate any politics is make the bombards undead for the first 1-2 minutes (I'm going with minute and 45 secs in RCB Shadow) so no one gets screwed over out of spite initially. Then as long people get their initial top store unit w/o being greedy (e.g. aztecs instant charlemagne round one) they won't have to worry about getting doubled/tripled. Plus even if they do that's why the genitour is there... worried about monks? That's why you either a) keep a group outside your base to kill any monks or b) garrison the gen in your undead castle, kill the monk, bring gen back out...

Everyone easily has a fighting chance. More so if there's a guide to tell them how the first round will probably go.

My best name in RCB ffa is 18 wins 17 losses and I've seen some people even better than that. If position and politics were so big there's no way someone could get such a high win loss ratio in rcb ffa.

i went on a +76 streak in teams/ffa rcb hahaa,

i was 27++ 780 wins to 102 losses 90% games played in rcb

and over +90 win streaks in 1v1 rcb, there was lots and lots of competition, some players will still play and there could be a good tourny for the map, but same civs and 1v1 2v2 3v3 ... ffa is just insane lol, even the mods agree.

feel free to host it urself and see how it works out, we'll all sign up... but i think if we're having one, offically, it can't be ffa dude lol,.

I probably will just try to host it by myself or maybe with a couple more people if voobly doesn't do it. I want to do a tournament because I think it'd be fun and want to get more people playing; not out to prove anything other than maybe it can be done =D. Glad to see my point about politics is supported further with your prior win streak.

A FFA tournament is just ****ed the best player almost certainly wouldn't win because he would be the main target, stop trying to bring this up all the time Weapon. Zanchy your RCB rating was from stacking teams in 3v3/4v4 RCB that no one ever played before. No one could ever get anything remotely close to a +76 streak in a CS map playing FFA's (except silly maps like TD and TTF).

make corridors/the passways bigger and it doesnt lag unless its 3v3/4v4.
and the resources aint like cba so it cant take hours to play.
