@Gary

There is also a 'CBA Teams' map which was used during the last TIW. I don't remember if it was used only for practice purposes in the map pack or also in TiW deciders but it might be a good idea to include it in, so less time will be wasted by setting the spots.
If I remember correctly I made it so you can play v23 side vs side if you use very hard as difficulty setting. But I might be wrong

@Army

Sorry idk if you answered but ill ask again, can we pick a free bug version of some map which has some changes compared with last version? (Lustful v7 - Lustful v8)

Correct me if im wrong but isnt the only difference a delay before you can start building? I think whats best is to go with the version that gives nobody any potential advantage which could come as the result of perhaps some lagging issues? Its best to go with whats fair to everyone, if there is any issue where there could be unfair advantage then it cant be used, im not saying there is but even the potential for it would make it a no. Lustful will be a massive part of the tourney and lots voted for it so will get used alot and im actually looking forward to some good games of it. What i will do is discuss it with a variety of people and see what they think.

Regarding RCB, I think whats best seeing how the 2 who voted it in seem to be agreement is to allow fair mod i think it is the one that most use along with the map you both said is played. No need to make it complicated and look at other version. Stick to that map and if you choose it, choose with the mod and if it comes up in the decider gb and select the map and put the mod on. As mentioned thats what happened in the previous TIW? I would imagine then that rcb wouldnt be in the practice random pack for obvious reasons and then put it in for the tourney.

BTW guys i will likely be doing the Group draw today, i will confirm this very shortly and of course any and all our welcome to watch.

Ok guys i will also likely start the scheduling on sunday the 23rd with a 2 week window to arrange the games. If you cant get games arranged within the 2 weeks the deadline for games will be the 8th of March at 6pm gmt. Then 2 weeks for the next set and so on.

The first set of games will be as follows based on the group draw:

Group 1:
Eot v 300
Boomers v Simply

Group 2:
xCs v RB
Dy v IC

The winner will play the loser of the other game in their group in the next match and then play the team they havent played last.

After all sets are complete all teams will move to a semi final. There will be a Gold semi final were top will play second in the other group, then a gold final. There will also be a silver semi final where 3rd will play 4th and a silver final.

There will be prizes for both the gold winners and silver winners.

& is there a time limit on when maps/immunities for matches will be announced or does each team just find the others maps right before they play?

Well im open to suggestions on it, i would much prefer to have maps, civs, immunities and vetos sorted before the sets. With any remaining vetos only being used for random deciders off course. I understand off course some as was the case in previous tiws didnt know who would turn up, so its more a case of how long is a suitable time before the sets.

I think both teams post their maps with the immunity to you 24 hours before the set is scheduled... one hour before the set both teams bring a rep to do the veto's for the maps they dont want to play and from that point on all leftover veto's are just used for the rdm decider round.
